Polish to use on gel coat

I have a kayak with a gel coat that is pretty dull. I have a DA polisher and micro fiber pads. Recommendation for a polish?

Our Marine/RV M67 One Step Compound works great for oxidized gel coat. Check out the below article for reference. We did use our M771 Marine/RV Heavy Duty Oxidation Scrub prior to M67, but you can omit that & still should get great results, the M771 HD Scrub is more important for a big project.

Would also recommend using a foam cutting pad opposed to microfiber for oxidation. The microfiber will likely get gummed up with residue quickly & not perform well.

Oh, I am not aware that Meguiars have polishing products for kayak as well.

As long as it is fiberglass/gel coat like a boat like the OP indicated. You would not compound a plastic or similar kayak.

Applied Marine Cleaning polish to my kayak. Got a 50% improvement and applied by hand and a "magic eraser". One challenge with polishing a kayak is the presence of bungee lines on the surface.

Good to hear a great improvement on yours! Gonna try that Marine Cleaning polish for the newly acquired kayak after I finished installing the rack and hard tonneau cover on the truck. It also got some bungee lines, good thing more are not noticeable.
