  • M20 Polymer Sealant?

Is M20 Polymer sealant being discontinued? I went to purchase a bottle of it and autogeek says its discontinued. meguiarsdirect says link unavailable. Stinks if it is, that was my favorite stuff. I loved the cleaning ability and slickness it gave. what would the next closest product be?

    Hi fireman3214,

M2016 Polymer Sealant 16oz is no longer active. M2064 Polymer Sealant 64oz is being phased out, which means, once stock is depleted, it will no longer be produced. Next closest product is Meguiar's M21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0.

cool thanks! I’ll give m21 a try, does it have mild cleaning ability like m20 did? My finish isn’t neglected obviously, I just like to use something that has a little cleaning ability to get off road film and such from daily driving

That is indeed sad news. Not unexpected, but sad none the less. When I need a slight cleaning ability in a quick to apply sealant, not a slower cleaner wax process, this has been my go to for many years.

fireman, I've used M21 for many years as well as M20, and I'm going to say it does not have any cleaning ability. It was my go to sealant for "well kept" cars until M27 came along.

            Oh shoot!

I loved that stuff. I used to use it on our family cars back in the 90's. Always lasted through the winters in Michigan.

            Time to stock up!

better scoop up what i can find them, i’m sad on amazon canada i found a smaller bottle for 30-39 bucks would’ve spent the dough if i knew it was going away. (i’m in Canada too such much less access to all of the real good stuff meguiars has, plus a price bump) i’ve been told the shine on m20 was better than 21
