  • Non Acid Wheel and Tire Cleaner in an IK foamer

Has anyone used Megs Non-acid Wheel and Tire Cleaner in an IK foamer? General recommendations on the IK are a 5:1 ratio (water:product). In my spray bottle I typically use a 4:1 ratio for lightly soiled wheels/tires as they get washed every week and was wondering if that same ratio or a larger/smaller dilution would work better in the IK foamer. I know I can just "try" any ratio and see what works but I would rather have some insights from some of the members here as what they find to be a sweet spot

used a 10:1 ratio on (8) wheels/tires and wasnt super happy with the results. I feel that barrels were not as clean compared to when using the normal spray bottle. The face of the wheels came out well. The rubber also was not as clean and needed another layer of product and scubbing. Trying the "wet foam" tip at the same dilution ratio before stepping up to a 5:1 ratio. Asking again if anyone has any insight from their experience?

I typically use D143 Non Acid Wheel & Tire Cleaner straight, not diluted, when trying to get maximum cleaning ability. Turning it into a thick foam with that sprayer could be diminishing the cleaning ability also.
