Streak or Stripe After Automated Car Wash

I wish I could post a photo of it. Brand new Mazda CX 5. Took it through a car wash (I know, I know). Now I have a foot long streak on the upper right quarter panel visible only in direct sunlight does not look like scratch or hologram. Will not wipe off. Looks kind of like a reflection but isnt.

update: Oops. This may well be a reflection after all. I parked the suv in the opposite direction to the sun. At the same time of day and saw the exact same streaks on the opposite side. They looked like streaks because they didn’t move or disappear as I change my position in relation to the sun. I realized the reflection was coming from the sun hitting the chrome window framing and reflecting onto the quarter panel following the concaves of the Mazda CX-5 body style

i wonder how many 2021CX 5 owners were fooled Ike me by this. Please tell me I’m not the only fool here ����
