I Read everywhere that the latest scratch x formula contained a high polish and is a one step process. Now I also see many write that it needs follow up with a polish or wax. I used this on a ver small area for only a few seconds. I see no ill effects from this. Do I now need to polish? So confused

This feature was added so that it buys the user a little bit of time to apply a more solid coat of protection, in the event they did not want to get into multi steps right away in the case of the old scratch x which would not leave any protection behind. Hope that makes sense.

Originally posted by Nick Winn View PostWax protection, yes, using a paint cleaner, compound or scratch remover like Scratch can easily remove wax protection. Not a big deal if you go without wax for a week or so. Our recommendation would be to re-apply wax in that area when you can. In general we recommend keeping a good coat of wax protection on your vehicle at least 3 - 4 times a year.
