  • Hi there ! New girl, new Jeep, need advice!

Hi everybody! I'm pretty much nailed down all the Meguiar's products I need, but I'm not sure about the fiberglass black painted top on my new RHD Jeep Wrangler.

    I'm using:
    Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo

Hybrid Liquid Ceramic Wax (with an applicator, not the spray) on the paint (totally in love with it BTW!)

Hot Shine Tire Spray on the tires

I already had 303 (Not Meguiar's) for the exterior black plastic etc, how does the Ultra black work? I'm not the happiest with the streaking I see with this product.

I also need a product for (textured) black painted fiberglass (added shine is fine).

I work out of my vehicle everyday and I want it to look clean and professional.

Thanks in advance from the midwest!

    Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Regarding our Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer Gel (G15812), it is important to apply the product at a time when it is going to have plenty of sunlight, and no rain, to fully dry, also, a small amount goes a very long way. Regarding the "textured black painted fiberglass", typically we say if it is smooth & glossy you can treat it like you would paint & apply wax, but since you mentioned it is textured, maybe a picture would be best to help us further advise.

      Thank you for the welcome!

As to the Ultimate black, do I need to elbow grease it into the black plastic, or just apply it and let it dry?
Also, what is a small amount? A quarter? A dime? A half dollar? Will a microfiber towel work to apply it, or should I use one of the the foam applicators ( a clean one obviously) I use with the ceramic hybrid liquid wax?

I hope this picture works, if not: be patient - I'll figure it out.

So I kind of cheated: the pictures are here: https://dbrown8534.imgbb.com/
