        Re: Plast-X problem

        TDI,
        has your problem been solved?
I also drive a Volkswagen and have the same problem with my gauges.
By the way, what is foam applictor?
Is it just the regular "applicator pad" or something special?

Here in Germany, we only have the regular applicator pads and neither M10 nor M17. So I hope that there is a way to get the scratches from my gauges just by using Plast-X.

Here's what they look like, but I've seen them in different looking packaging at times.

They work real well for applying product.

            Re: Plast-X problem

Hey guys, I had a question that is a bit off topic I guess, but I have ScratchX and i've asked people about using it on plastics before and they have said it would be alright, but since you guys are the experts at this I figured i'd run it by you. I was thinking about using it on 2 different surfaces.

            1) An instrament panel such as the one TDI has refered to.

            2) Head and tail lights

I might have to go get some plastiX, but scratchX seems to be a nice product as is so depending on your advice i'll see what the plan is.
