  • Having trouble removing scratches

I tried using Scratch X and the swirl's are still there. I followed the direction's on the bottle. Is there a better product that can be used. And what pad can I use on the PC to remove swirl's.

    Hey,

Since you have tried ScratchX previously, I would suggest trying #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish with a W-8006 Polishing pad and the PC set to speed 5. You need to work the product over a 2'x2' area until #83 becomes a light dust/residue; then remove with a MF towel. If after a couple of attempts with the above the swirls remain, they may be more than a PC can handle. Therefore, a rotary buffer with a skilled user may be required. But I have a feeling the #83 will work if used as noted above.

    Please keep us posted!
