3m polishing compound = what Meguiars #

I have some 3m Imperial Microfinishing Compound - Liquid

part # 06011 (for machine polishing)


Anyone know how this compares to Meguiars?

Hi Mike,

It's my black 96 Vette, you used as a demo when North Coast Vettes came for a seminar.

I have marks from killing cones at autox & also light scratches where some tape on fender flairs were attached to the rears fenders. Grand Sport flairs to cover 11 inch rear rims on 96 Vettes.

I will try it on a small low area & see how it works. It's a full quart bottle I got at a body shop supply store & hate to throw it out.

I think it's pretty mild.
