Another way to resize your photos

If you go to:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

you can download Windows Image Resizer for XP. Once you've installed it, all you have to do is right click on the image or images in Windows Explorer and select the size you want.

Easy Thumbnails is great because you can do other things, but if you want a quick and dirty resizer, this is great.
