Masking Q?

Hello all,

There has been some dicussions about masking the car before using the DA.

How is it that those in pics of detail days never have a spec of product on them and also Niz & Lisa in the link have done it in T shirt & shorts and the car is a convertable but no masking or product "splash" anywhere, just curious>

When you do it right you get little or no “splash” with a G100 and mostly you tape off areas you’re likely to “run over”. Still, buffing in white clothes is brave and I usually throw a towel over upholstery or convertible tops.

T shirt & shorts, what can I say, it's California.
