  • What's the best way to apply protectant to rubber trim?

I have some GC Vinyl/Rubber protectant. What to the best way to apply it to the trim? I've tried q-tpis but that takes a long time. Used a foam pad put seemed to get a lot on windows and paint.
    Any ideas? Thanks.

In our Saturday classes we show using our Hi Tech Foam Applicator pads to apply all kinds of dressings.

You could also use our Even Coat Applicators, or even cut a terry cloth towel into small pieces.

      Hello there,

I keep a spnoge aside for exactly this application, I cut a piece about 2" square by half an inch thick and it works great for me

I use makeup sponges like these.....
(They are excellent for applying Trim Detailer onto small trim)

Here's the thread where I found the photo...

check a hobbie store, or paint store.
Personally I use Hi-Tech foam applicatore pads, but am going to give the makeup wedges a try! What a great idea Rusty Bumper. (And someone said you post too much, boo on them)!

Oops, I guess not everywhere. Around here they sell them in every hardware store, paint store (for buildings, not cars), Home improvement center, craft store, etc.
