Here is the one we are talking about:

          - Powerful 250 mph detachable blower with wand and nozzle for easy yard clean-up
          - 18' power cord provides extra reach when vacuuming debris or blowing leaves
          - Quieter motor for in-house vacuuming and outdoor applications

              Leafblower Lesson Learned

When using leaf blower, if wearing drawstring type shorts, tuck in the strings.

I did not do this this weekend. The thing grabbed both strings, yanked them outta my shorts and shredded them

Unfortunately the shorts were a tad big on me so I had to stop working and head for the house for a change of attire.

                Jeff,

Now, that is one good safety tip I totally overlooked. Puts a whole other spin to detailing now.

I could understand this happening because Blowers double (most) as vacuums for leaves and shreds them.

I am glad that the worse thing that happened to you was that you lost the string and that you had to stop your work and run back into the house holding your shorts up. Could have been worse .

What is the advantage of using a dry wet vac?

How long have you had your Shop vac/leaf blower from lowes?

                    Did you buy the warranty?

Does it need to be serviced frequently?

                    Are these reliable?

What attachments are good fo this model?

sorry for all the ? im thinking of purchasing this model but before i buy it i wanna here some of your opnions? thanks

if you can add anything else please do so!

                    thanks fellas

                        Hi explore_02xlt...

Thanks for post up your opinion....yea i swinged by fri at lowes

(shop vac you recommended and other MOL members)and then

went to kohls to check on the bissel little green machine....my

main thing at first was carpet cleaning....but i think i made my

decision on the shop vac instead from lowes...due to the fact of

wet/dry vac and blower.....i guess i can always buy Apc and

brush to scrub and then use the vac to **** it all up......? what i

meant to ask was did you buy extra attachments other then

what was provided witht he shop vac....well i swing by this week to pick it up!!!!Thanks again
                        Miguel
