  • Clay and Polish in the Sun?

Is it alright to Clay and poilsh (using a DAP) in the sun?

I know that most Wax's preffer shade... but some don't... so thats why i ask about the Clay and polishing.

    Thanks again all!

Polishes can get difficult to remove once dry and I have found with clay the Lubricant dries up just as quick as you can spay it on when you use it in the sun. I would try and find some shade somewhere.

Well, being in the sun isnt the best, but sometimes cant be avoided. Just cut down the size of your work.

Also remember, esp as winter is upon some of us, that being in the sun means different things. Being in the sun with a black car in Arizona, and being in the sun with a white car in december in Maine are completly different. It is surface temp that is most important, as well as humidity/dampness.
