  • Scratch X

Hey guys I was planning to buy some ScratchX. Well before I buy my meguiars products from a retailer I like to check if the protective seal is on before purshasing the product. However, everytime I come across a tube of ScratchX, there would be no protective film over the orfice. Is there no protective film to begin with or I've been coming across tampered with ScratchX's?

Product tampering is mostly a concern for foods and drugs and such.

The seals on most common products are for preventing leaks and spills or preserving the contents by preventing evaporation or introduction of air.

ScratchX, being a heavy cream, doesn't tend to leak or spill. I've never noticed any tendency to dry out, separate or spoil in the tube either. So I'd guess they didn't think a secondary seal was needed.

    PC.

I'm pretty sure there isnt one, same for Nxt Metal Polish. Some of the runnier products have a seal, but not every product.
