How to remove wiper stains from front windshield?

Im sure some of you know most cars have stained grime from left over water on the front windhshield in the shape of the wipers passing areas. For instance the the sides and middle triangle are spotty and unclear. I've had trouble trying to remove this and make the glass look like new. How can I go about doing this and making the entire front windshield one smooth clean glass.

welcome! id start by using a clay bar then clean with a non ammonia glass cleaner like stoners invisible glass.

If just clay and glass cleaner wont work for you, you can also use a paint cleaner like the Ultimate Compound.
