I would like to ask if d160 is used on plastics and not used on tires for such a long time. It can last for two months when used on tires. When used on plastics, it will disappear after three consecutive days of rain. I don't know if there is a problem with the construction. Thank you

I first wanted to express that with this product it is important that the surfaces be prepared properly by cleaning with them with a product like our D101 All Purpose Cleaner or D107 Citrus Power Cleaner. If there is something existing on the plastic trim the D160 is being applied to, it will have a hard time lasting since it is not able to bond to the plastic itself & is fighting whatever is still existing on the plastic. If that is not the case and you are ensuring the surface is clean, secondly, it is important that the D160 be applied to the surface when it is completely dry. Lastly, try to apply the 160 at a time when it is not going to rain or be washed for 12/24 hours. This will allow adequate time for the product to set up.
