  • Not my first post... I'm from the Philippines

I've overlooked this section and forgot to post here first.

Anyway, I came across this site while browsing the meguiar's site looking for information on the DC line and tips on applying.

Meguiar's products cost 3x as much and is not easy to find here in Manila. I've been using the DC line by hand and recently got the G110 and pads to make life easier.

    New toys:

I've learned a lot reading the different sections and once I've used up the DC line I'm switching to the Pro line.

    Thanks a lot MOL.

        Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Nice collection of products you have already, noticed some W-7006 Cutting Pads in the picture, so just would like to point out at this time we don't recommend using these cutting pads to apply chemicals, you can use them with a bonnet to remove wax but cutting pads in general tend to scour or haze clear coat paints, so you might want to stick with the yellow W-8006 polishing pads for defect removal.

If you've read about using a cutting pad to apply chemicals on another forum, (common), then at least do a test spot first and make sure you're getting the results you want before doing the entire car.

Just to note: If you're working on light colored paint you may not see the hazing, if you're working on dark colored paint it's pretty apparent.

Re: Not my first post... I'm from the Philippines

Thanks Mike for the inputs. I should have gotten only 1 W-7006 pad, I forgot to inform Rick from ADS on the 6 pack I got. Anyway the cutting pads will be used with a bonnet to remove polish and wax.

In fact my car's color is green:
