  • My first *paid* detailing is today!

Pretty excited as I am doing my first car detailing for cash. I have done my car a few times before and my fathers car, but this will be my first to actually make some money and pay off some of my supplies! haha

It is a Scion tC, Black Sand Pearl. The car is in fairly good condition with the normal swirls due to bad washing. It has some scratches as well which she wants me to try and get out the best I can (I told her depending on depth I may not be able to). It is getting a complete job which will include:

    1.) Wash / Dry

    2.) Clay

3.) #80/#83 depending applied via PC, as well as Scratch X on beneath the door handles (by hand).

4.) Tire/Rim cleaning with Hot Shine and All Wheel Cleaner.

5.) Completed with a coat of NXT 2.0

Also, depending on time, will try to do the engine bay and some minor interior cleaning, although that is not requested by her. It really depends on time though, as she will be picking up around 6pm or so.

I am charging approximately $120 for the job, only because it is my brothers girlfriend I will cut a little deal. My next job though depending on condition should be in the area of $200 easily (just so you know I am not selling myself short here!).

All in all im excited and can't wait to see what these Meguiars products are capable of. I love them on my car, but then again, mine was never swirl covered or really all that in need of TLC. So this will be a true test!

I will have a picture report later tonight and will link to the results!

    Wish me luck!

Good luck. The first time is always nerve-racking but just go ahead and treat it like your own.
