    Any guys encounter water marks that alreadly etch into the paintwork?
    Which product can i use to remedy this problem? Anyone can help?

    Wather etchings are very similar to swirls and scratches, that is low points in the paint. Just from a different cause.

    You would use the same techniqes and products on them as you would swirls.

    Will you be working by hand, machine, etc?

      Either ScratchX 2.0 or Ultimate Compound should do the trick. Ultimate Compound is very effective at removing most below surface defects like water spot etchings using a foam applicator pad by hand.

      It's just now making it into distribution as this is a brand new product for 2009

        Hi jasonbsm,

        I, too, recently had water spots/etchings on my paint (with clear coat) and used ScratchX2 (by hand) to get them out.

        I have some pictures here:
